Group offerings

Group therapy is an excellent opportunity to experience tremendous personal growth in a supportive environment with other women struggling with similar difficulties. While it may at first sound overwhelming to be vulnerable and share in a group, it can actually be very reassuring to find there are so many other women who are struggling with the same issues. In fact, for certain issues, group therapy may be the preferred mode of treatment as the insights and experience can provide benefits beyond that of individual therapy.

The groups I offer center around women's issues such as relationships, life transitions, loneliness, shame,  anxiety/stress, depression, self-worth, spirituality and personal growth. We utilize Enneagram, MBTI, and Archetypes to help members gain a deeper understanding of themselves and recognize patterns of self-sabotage.

The climate of trust found in group therapy, the understanding that group members share many of your struggles and the constructive and supportive feedback provided by other group members will make you feel increasingly more safe to open up and share your thoughts and feelings during each session. The more you collaborate and share, the more you benefit from the experience. Groups will be limited to six members to honor the comfort level of introverted members and to insure that there is time for everyone to share.

Groups work in the here-and-now / present moment interaction, which is one of the most powerful aspects of therapy as it allows members to have corrective emotional experiences and to receive valuable immediate feedback about their impact on others in the group. With the support of the women in the group, you can naturally become more self-aware, gain healthier coping mechanisms, develop better communication strategies, improve relationships, and find your voice.

If you are interested in finding out more information about my groups please contact me.

I do require an online screening session for all members.
